Merrell has always been a brand I have been interested in as an outdoor enthusiast. Therefore, as a personal project to continue to work on expanding my design skillset, I did a branding study on one of their underdog shoes, The Hut Moc.
This study involved reframing the Hut Moc as an adventure shoe, as opposed to a casual slipper. In order to do this I featured the many different adventures and occasions the shoe can be worn for. I loved integrating a real product into my own personal graphic and illustrative style of design. I explored how to create a new creative campaign for the shoe, integrating everything from social media, to print design, to storefront displays and more.
